Opening your own business is a lot of work, but when you partner with us through franchising, we take a lot of the guesswork out of the entire process. Not only is buying a franchise the simplest way to start a business, but you receive the guidance you need from our team to open a business you are passionate about. Here’s our simple 6-step process to franchising with us.
A quick “get-to-know-you” call with our team. This is one of the most important steps (and one of our favorites!) where we get a chance to hear your story and how you heard about freecoat, and for you learn more about us and our process.
Fill out our “request for consideration document” and return. This is our simple application process where we really get to know more about you and determine if we’re a good fit for each other.
Review our FDD (Franchise Disclosure Document) and chat about next steps. This will be the document you sign to confirm your agreement with us, so we like to get it in your hands sooner than later for your review. Once you’ve reviewed it, we’ll hop on a phone call and answer any questions you have about it.
Visit a freecoat location and spend time getting to know our team, otherwise known as a “discovery day!” This is the last big part of the process and where you really get to experience what freecoat is all about. You’ll also get to meet the people you will be working very closely with during development and long after you open your location.
Once our franchise leadership team has approved your application and we have all legal documents, we create your franchise agreement for you to sign.
Join our freecoat family as a franchise partner! Once the franchise agreement is signed and things are finalized, it’s time to get started. Our team will guide you throughout the entire development process, including site selection, lease negotiation, introductions to architecture firms, general contractors, signage companies, and supplies and equipment vendors. We will be here for you every step of the way! Listen in as our amazing franchise development team speaks on the overall ownership process HERE…
